Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra is a master and
a legend in his chosen field, with a name now synonymous with Odissi dance
throughout the world.
Born in a family of chitrakaras, he paints a
dancer on to her background.

- Padma Bhusan, 1989
- Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship, 1991
- Padma Vibhushan, 2000
